Sumeyya brings over 20 years of experience to the table when working with each bridal client, collaborating to find and create unique and beautiful art that fits you and your wedding!

Our Henna

We use 100% natural henna powder mixed only with essential oils, lemon juice and sugar.

Brides must keep paste on for 8-10 hours, and stay away from water for additional 10-12 hours for best results. See 'Henna Stains' gallery for example stains.

Location

We are located in Bolingbrook, IL 60490. As this is our *home* studio location, the full address is sent to clients only once booked. Brides are welcome to have their henna applied at our location or have us come to you. If coming here, make sure to have a friend drive you back home.

Travel Fees

For clients requiring on-site services, we do travel within the greater Chicagoland area. Minimum service fee of $300 required for travel.

Travel fees are:

- West Suburbs, South Suburbs: $40-$75

- North Suburbs: $100-$150

Downtown Chicago: $100-$150 (price of round-trip Uber/Lyft).

Schedule

Bridal henna must be scheduled 2-3 days BEFORE your wedding day for best stain results.

Do not book your bridal henna session in the midst of a large party or sangeet, or starting in the late afternoon or evening. It is best to book bridal henna on a day/morning before any major wedding events, as a hectic work area will not give you the best results.

We recommend beginning bridal henna btw 9a-11am.

Bridal Henna Hands

The 'Elegant' Bride - $250

For the bride who prefers less henna but still wants our signature contemporary look — this selection includes henna going just a bit past the wrists, full intricate palms and similar style or a more open style henna on the backs of the hands.

The 'Classic' Bride - $375

For the bride who wants just the right mix of traditional and modern esthetic — this selection includes henna going halfway up the arm, full & intricate henna on palms and backs of hands, wrapping around both sides.

The 'Traditional' Bride - $500

Our most popular hands package — this selection includes our signature contemporary Indian style henna extending all the way up the arm, ending just below elbow on both sides of hands/arms, and fully wrapping around.

Bridal Henna Feet

The 'Elegant' Bride - $100

This selection includes Indo-arabic style, floral designs across the feet OR a mandala style design on tops of feet, plus toes; ending below the ankle. Its the perfect selection for those who'd like to complete their 'bridal' look with minimalistic feet designs.

The 'Classic' Bride - $200

This selection includes semi-full coverage Indian designs on the tops of your feet, ending at or slightly above the ankle. The design will only cover the tops/front of the feet and legs and does not wrap around.

Time Required: ~1 hour

Our most popular feet package, this selection includes semi-covered Indian designs on the tops of your feet, extending 2 inches above the ankle. The design covers the tops/front of the feet and legs and does not wrap around.

The 'Maharani' Bride - $400

This selection includes semi-covered Indian designs on the tops of your feet, extending 4-5 inches up the calf (ending a few inches BELOW the knee); this design covers the tops/fronts of the feet/leg and does not wrap around the leg. If choosing this package along with hands, please make sure to set aside 6-8 hours for your bridal henna session.

Time Required: ~2.5 hours
